Parkgate and Neston United Reformed Church

Twenty eight members and friends took the opportunity to be shown around the fascinating NordicChurch in Liverpool, which was begun in 1883 as the Scandinavian Seaman's Church .

The architect for the building was a young local man, William Douglas Caroe and was his first assignment in his late twenties and he designed it to look as far as possible like a Norwegian stave church.
